Found the scene of an RV that appeared to recently been caught fire and extinguished. There was no visible space number on the RV or on the electrical panel, and no space number was provided by City Communications. All electrical lines and devices in the RV are burned. The RV itself has no apparent connection to the power panel box, and there is no apparent connection to water or gas service. Three of the four exterior walls were completely destroyed by the fire with wooden structural members heavily fire damaged. The roof of the RV was also fully destroyed by fire and the skeleton of the roof appears to be liable to collapse. There was no contact information available at the time for the owner. City Contractor was called out to secure the area surrounding the burned out RV due to the imminent hazard of persons or children entering the structure and due to the apparent likelihood of the roof skeleton of the RV collapsing. Biff Baker responded and completed installing fence panels at approximately 3:05 AM. A notice was posted to demolish/dispose of the burned out RV from the property within 60 days. -VM |
