This leaving two potential load bearing beams not properly supported. The building’s wall studs and siding have been dislodged from its place leaving an approximately 12-foot-wide x 8-foot-tall opening. Electrical conduit at the area of impact have been damaged leaving exposed conductors and electrical devices such as receptacles. Property owner engaged with the City contractor to secure and stabilize the patio area. Building has been posted unfit to occupy, permits are required for repairs. Structural engineer will be required to approve temporary stabilization under applicable permit and for approval of business activity to continue during repairs. Notice of violation has been issued listing requirements. Interior electrical panel labeled “B” with breaker identified as “1” and “3” is being ordered to remain off until repairs by a qualified technician is made under applicable permits. |
