| 04/24/2025 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial | In Violation | Did observe a window that was covered with a wooden board because the window is broken. I spoke with the tenants and the management office about the repairs. The tenants stated that they are moving out on the first of May. I still instructed the management to repair the window prior to the tenants move out date. | |
| 05/01/2025 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up | In Violation | According to management, tenants moved out of the unit on 5/30 and the unit has been vacant since that time. The management stated the windows was going to be repaired the following day, however, they indicated that the replacement window will arrive 5-13-25 and the replacement will occur 5-14-25 due to supply shortage. Management informed me of the ongoing dispute between them and this particular tenant with regard to the window incident. In fact, the tenants mentioned something about helping get back their security deposit and I told them I could not help with that. They stated that the tenants signed lease agreement requires the tenant to repair any damages to the unit not caused by the gross negligence of the lessor. Check the photo files for copies of the lease agreement and other related documents with highlighted sections. |
