| 03/18/2025 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial | In Violation | Observed a property that had excessive trash and debris in the rear and side yard . The property also has excessive outdoor storage in the rear and side yards. I did not actually observe individuals living inside the shed, however, after speaking with the tenants, they explained to me that the owner's son does blocks himself inside of the shed and has dugout a tunnel underneath of it to escape. I did verify this hole exists and I found out later from the owner and from my owner verification, that it was filled and covered. The shed does have electric wires running through it as well as wall wall receptacles. | |
| 04/23/2025 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up | In Violation | On site with the property owners. The trash and debris were cleaned and the overgrown vegetation was cut. I inspected the shed again to verify that no hole is present where homeless have been reported to come from. I could not verify a hole in the backyard at this shed. In fact, (like the previous inspection) the hole appears to be packed and filled in to prevent anyone from entering. The owner was aware of the problem and working to make sure it stays vacant. The owner put some privacy screening around the chain link fence |
