Front door is missing door handle on inside, preventing safe egress. There is trash and debris throughout the interior of the home. Ceiling is deteriorated and missing throughout, water damage throughout ceiling. Floor covering is missing, and there are soft spots in the plywood of the unit. There are dirty dishes scattered in the unit. There are light fixtures hanging from the wires. There is a camper toilet and a portable bathtub set up to be used as the bathroom. Could not locate a fixed toilet in the unit. Lights are strung up with daisy chained extension cords. Electrical panel in closet is missing the cover plate so a person could come in contact with energized electrical wiring. There are tarps covering the roof. There is an electric panel in the rear shed like structure with no cover panel and exposed electrical wiring so a person could come in contact with energized electrical wiring. Pima County Animal Control was called to remove the animals from the property. TEP was called to cut power to the property. TEP responded and cut power to the property. Owner of the property lives next door and was on site, signed the Notice and Order and agreed to secure the unit. The unit was posted with a Red Tag as Unsafe to Occupy and posted with a Notice of Violation. Permit required and inspection of electrical system before reconnect permit to be issued. Code Enforcement to reinspect unit before condemnation can be lifted and unit reoccupied. -VM |
