Arrived and the units were still on site and checking for hot spots. The fire investigators were on site and checking for cause. One of the tenants was transported to the hospital due to had burns. The fire was in the bedroom and broke the panes on a casement window, the roof was vented, the electrical and gas was removed from the meters due to the amount of damage from the fire. Has heavy smoke damage where not burned from the flames. No force entry due to the tenants were home. The wood framing on ceiling and roof with walls are not burned but will need to be check in a couple areas. The drywall has heavy smoke damage through out. Did make contact with the property manager and advised of the fire. She will be calling a contractor to have the property secured once the investigation is completed. The person has died and the site went into crime scene. Did to the posting of Do Not Enter on the front window and placed the N.O.V. to Vacate on the front door. Did talk to T.P.D. and they will lock the door if the property manager is not on site when completed. They will let the tenant in to check if she wants to get some items to take with her when she leaves. RV. | |
