03/07/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial Passed Occupant states the HVAC system is leaking carbon monoxide. Occupant states the flames are high. The HVAC system has been unplugged and noticed all the venting in the closet have been sealed off. Occupant has taped up all windows and around the door. Bedroom door is missing. Added electrical circuit to the 60 am system. Refuse and storage outside. Shed was being used as living space for occupants son before he moved. Light globe missing at front door. Flooring tile in hallway is cracked and partially missing. Drywall paper is peeling off on ceiling next to hvac closet. Stove needs a dedicated outlet that does not have a light switch located below the plug making it hard for the occupant to use the stove. Contacted owner spoke to Property Mgr regarding the complaint. Sent NOV to owner and discussed the IMPORTANCE of obtaining a permit and calling in the inspection. Let owner know I would be sending a NOV via the mail as well.
07/23/2025 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up Passed Owner presented invoices showing repair work completed: Adam Blankenbaker Electric LLC 3/23 completed, Keen Gee for Handyman repairs, D&J AC,. Contacted occupant. Occupant verified repairs were made to the rental unit and she was good with the repairs. Close case
