02/01/2025 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation Kitchen fire in Unit 7206 caused fire sprinkler system to activate, flooding Unit 710. Found water coming out of ceiling in entry/foyer area, out of a light fixture by HVAC register in ceiling, the HVAC register/filter enclosure, and water damage to walls in this hallway. Water also coming out of exhaust fan in laundry room. Water has also leaked through ceiling in master bedroom and master bathroom. Repairs to unit required with a Commercial Addition/Alteration permit. Power off to unit at main disconnect by TFD upon arrival. A licensed electrician shall review all electrical, replace damaged components, and provide a report to Code Enforcement prior to re-energizing power. A re-inspection is required by Code Enforcement to lift condemnation. Unit was posted Unsafe to Occupy. -VM
05/22/2025 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up Passed 128 pm - - All drywall has been repaired and retextured. - Light fixture in entry area has been replaced. - Tested light and exhaust fan in laundry room, both work as intended. - Tested 7 GFCI outlets in kitchen, all test correctly and GFCI functions when tested. - Tested GFCI outlets in both bathrooms, both test correctly and GFCI functions when tested. - Both bedrooms have smoke detectors. - Permit for repairs, TC-COM-0325-00585, is in Complete status. - Violations are abated, lift condemnation and close case. -VM
