Inspecting the unit, tenant stated that an outlet does not work, the outlet in front of the entrance door to unit. At this time, it is working. She stated that it flickers off and on, this outlet may be not working properly, however, at this time it is working. Management stated they will send a electrician to take a look at it the next day. According to CH. 16 Sec. 16-11 (b)(2) - Air conditioners shall be capable of producing ambient temperatures at or below eighty-two (82°) degrees. Room reading, measurements are taken at a distance of three (3) feet above the floor in center of the room using an infrared thermometer, well under 82 degrees, it is reading at 75 degrees in the Unit in each room inspected, living room, and back bedroom, at this time. Tenant did not say anything about roaches, and at inspection did not see any at the time. Tenant wanted unit temperature to read below 55 degrees. And would not listen to CE Inspector of the ordinance for the unit to be reading under 82 degrees and below. At this time, no verify for the complaint. Case closed. Faculty worker has stated, the tenant does not let maintenance in to repair unit, occasionally. |
