01/09/2026 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation Arrived to scene at 527 AM and found TFD still on scene, with firefighting activities continuing on the roof where smoke was still coming out of the structure. Fire occurred in the southeast corner of the structure, in an area on the east wall where the water heater is located. OSB board in the area of the water heater burned, and fire burned through the roof system of the home. Fire spread through a small space between the ceiling and roof, and caused damaged to roof structural members. There are multiple holes cut into the roof. The bedroom at southeast portion of structure has sustained water damage and has fire damage. There is burned and bare electrical wires in the bedroom abutting the water heater. Breakers 10, 13, 14 and 16 were found tripped. Did find electrical conduit ran from the rear building to the front building in what appears to be a non code compliant manner, and Romex enters the rear of the front structure and enters a bathroom abutting the fire damaged bedroom. There is an open junction box on the east wall with exposed wires. TEP responded to property and removed the meter. There is burn patterns on the south wall which may suggest fire burned inside the wall in this area. Water was found off upon arrival. There is no gas service to the property per TFD. Front home is condemned and may not be occupied. Repairs are required by use of a licensed contractor with an Issued permit. Owner on site will secure structure. -VM
