Per TPD, TFD arrived on scene for a call of smoke coming out of the building and upon arrival homeless were fled the scene. It appears the homeless breached the building and were burning a warming fire. There was no apparent building or structure damage from this fire. The building is a former Casa Molina restaurant that was previously impacted by a kitchen fire and has previously been condemned. The interior of the building has dilapidation and deterioration. The interior also contains trash and debris, and materials consistent with camping and drug paraphernalia. Provided owner with a Notice of Violation to remove trash and debris from the interior of the building and to secure the breached doors of the building. Owner had a contractor on site and agreed to secure the building. -VM | |
