01/07/2024 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial Completed Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a attic fire. Arrived and all the units were still on site checking for hot spots. Fire investigators on site checking for cause. The fire was in a wood framed fireplace. There was an incident with the exterior wall of the fire place being hit in the area and was repaired. This was the first time the tenant lites a fire in the fire place since the incident and was repaired. The fire enter the attic space and did some burning and smoke damage to the wood trusses. The electrical and the gas was removed at the meter due to the damage of the fire. The drywall was removed at the ceilings and walls in the kitchen and living room area. Did have a broken window and called Arcaiden Industries to the site to have the window secured. All other openings able to secure by the tenant. The tenant signed the paperwork and will give copies to the property manager tomorrow. At this time the case will be closed due to will be working with the insurance company to do the repairs. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
