Arrived and all the units were still on site and checking for hot spots. The fire investigators were on site checking for cause. The house has been vacant for some time and was lacking all utilities to the property. The fire was in the rear of the house on the west side at a storage room that is opened where the wood siding has been removed. There is no structural damage to the wood framing for the storage room or the main house. The property has been condemned for hoarding and was secured at that time and was still secured at the time of the fire. The fire was started on the exterior of the storage room and the wood siding started to burn. The interior of the house has not been cleaned since the last inspection. The owner did show to the property and not able to secure the site and gave permission to have the City of Tucson contractor secure the property. Called Arcaiden Industries to the site to have the door secured. Posted the paperwork on the front window due to the owner left the site. Did go over that the property needs to be cleaned and they will start to clean the property. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV. |
