| 01/28/2023 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial | In Violation | Commination called the T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Has fire damage to the rear of the house where all the contains have burned. Has heavy fire damage to the drywall through out to the rear rooms of the house. The fire carried to the other rooms through the ceilings with damaged down to 4' level of the house. Has broken windows or burned out windows. Vent holes were cut on the roof and some area burned through the roof sheathing. Has skylights that have melted on the roof and helped vent the house during the fire. The owner is not able to secure the house and gave permission. The house has heavy smoke damage through out and the drywall is burned or blistered through out. The electrical and gas have been removed at the meters and the water is off at the valve in the meter box. The owner signed the paperwork and has been in contact with the insurance. Their is a pool and has a metal fence around the pool and has a self closing gate and is working at this time. The pump for the pool has burned. The water in the pool is cleaned at this time and will be shocking to keep the water in the pool cleaned. Has a structure in the rear of the house and has no damage and is detached from the main house. The rear room where the main fire area was had drywall that fell during the fire and the wood rafters have fire damage of charring. The windows and a sliding glass door have been burned in the fire in the rooms in the rear of the house. The west side of the house has burning of the wood sheathing, rafter tails, fascia and fly rafters with some wood doors stacked on the side of the house. Has small holes made on the roof where a fire tool was used to spray water in heated areas from the roof. Did the posting Do Not Enter on the front of the house. The Redcross will be called by the grandson to get some clothing for the son whos room was involved in the fire and has no clothing. RV. | |
