In addition to repainting, the project will also replace the fabric awning that hangs on the front of the Fox Theatre, over the box office on the left side of the Congress façade. This fabric is significantly sun-faded and frayed and torn in many places, requiring replacement. While an exact fabric match is not possible, we have selected similar color and striped pattern to match as closely as possible to the existing fabric. This work does not constitute an alteration of any kind, but is necessary as a matter of basic maintenance and stewardship of our historic buildings. | |
