The project includes 9 back of curb rainwater harvesting basins with curb cuts and several microbasins. These basins will be planted with native trees and shrubs. This project is a continuation of work that was done in 2022. Each well will be installed in the street shoulder and housed in a 12-inch diameter traffic rated vault. Three of the wells will extend to a depth of 130-feet below grade and one will extend to a depth of 200-feet below grade. A fifth location at 105 W Lee St is for repairs to an existing well vault that was damaged during a recent street paving event and will be replaced.
