Permits

Date - 08/17/2026 1:22 p.m.
Number Of Permits - (1)
Permit Status Apply Date Expired Date Unit Type Description
TR-ROW-0226-00181 Complete 02/11/2026 04/26/2026 Right-of-Way (ROW) 03/31/26 (ieb)-- Renew for 30 days as of 3/27/26 new expiration date is 04/26/2026 Dunbar/Spring Neighborhood rain and tree planting: Excavating six street-side stormwater-harvesting basins, stabilizing basin banks with rock (except for the three shallow basins beside Perry Ave which have gradual 3:1 sloping banks and no rock), drilling one 4-inch diameter curb cores in street curb, planting native trees and/or Tucson Basin-native understory vegetation in basin terraces and basin bottoms. Addresses of all work sites: 722 and 730 N. Perry Avenue, 40 and 44 W. University Blvd NOTE 1: All sites were bluestaked, and field inspected by David Marhefka, City of Tucson Department of Transportation and Mobility landscape architect on 12-5-25 and APPROVED to proceed. NOTE 2: this is a resubmittal of application for permit. We have removed the site at 910 N. 10th Ave from this permit application as I was informed by Jonathan Knighton-Wisor that the 910 N 10th Ave site requires archaeological monitoring as it is within the old Court Street Cemetery area. Monitoring ensures compliance with A.R.S. §41-844, a state law that mandates reporting of mortuary features to the Arizona State Museum. NOTE 3: Additionally, this is a resubmittal of application for permit TR-ROW-0126-00037, which was a resubmittal of application for permit number TR-ROW-1225-01543). Only one address is listed on this permit application because this a permit for a neighborhood-wide project – the four addresses of the individual sites within the neighborhood are listed above. See the “Dunbar Spring Neighborhood Planting sites 2026 - polygon map” file for how the sites relate to one another within the neighborhood. This is how we do these community project permits every year - with all neighborhood sites under one neighborhood permit (David Marhefka helps facilitate this). If you have questions please contact the project coordinator, Brad Lancaster, at NeighborhoodForesters@gmail.com or 520-275-8753.
