| TE-FPU-0225-00055 | Needs Resubmittal | 02/04/2025 | N/A | Floodplain Use | I am writing to provide additional context regarding the recent installation of a privacy barrier on our property. The property is enclosed by a 5-foot chain link fence, which was part of the original construction. Three months ago, we added a corrugated metal privacy barrier to address ongoing security and safety concerns, including theft, unauthorized use of exterior hose bibs and electrical outlets, and persistent littering issues. These challenges have posed significant risks to both the property and the surrounding community. We were recently informed of a flood zone violation related to the privacy barrier. However, we would like to note that since its installation, there have been no observed drainage issues or adverse impacts on the floodplain. The barrier was carefully installed to ensure it does not impede water flow or exacerbate any flood-related concerns. We sincerely appreciate your understanding of the necessity of this addition and its role in maintaining the safety and security of the property. We are committed to complying with all regulations and are happy to provide any additional information or make adjustments as needed to ensure the barrier meets all flood zone requirements. Thank you for your time and consideration. We look forward to your guidance and hope to resolve this matter promptly. Please feel free to contact me if you require further details or would like to discuss this in person. | |
