In lieu of arranging 50% of exiting width at the west exit, exit E1, we have added a new exit E2 in close proximity. This exit is visible from E1 in the event of any emergency situation at that door, and will have obscure glazing such that it the door is clearly to connected the exterior. All exit widths are compliant with a fair amount of spare width and are calculated at .2" per occupant. With this change, it is not required to provide a voice alarm to reduce the exit width factor. It is not the intent of this project to add a voice alarm system. |
