T20RW06087 | Final | 11/09/2020 | 06/30/2021 | ROW | Place one 3’ by 3’ aluminum, one-sided sign on steel posts (see attached 11x17 overview, photo of actual staked location on site [for AZ 811], and example sign photo). The sign will be to fulfill a requirement set forth in TEP’s executed Certificate of Environmental Compatibility (CEC) to notify the public of future transmission line construction. AZ 811 has been completed at the location, AZ 811 Ticket No. 2020102901470, phone contact 520-780-1284. This project is located in a City of Tucson Archaeological Sensitivity Zone. An archaeological monitor hired by the permit applicant is required to be on-site during any digging, unless a waiver is issued. The Arizona State Museum can furnish a list of qualified archaeologists. Please allow up to 30 days for the monitor to obtain a project-specific Arizona Antiquities Act permit before scheduling the work. The existing City of Tucson monitoring and discovery plan for excavation within an Archaeological Sensitivity Zone may be used by the monitor to obtain the permit. Monitoring reports are to be submitted to Historic Preservation Office, City of Tucson, P.O. Box 27210, Tucson, AZ 85726.** Please contact Jodie Brown at Jodie.Brown@tucsonaz.gov with any questions. We are swapping out the sign at this location notifying of project hearings with a more long term sign to indicate that the project was approved and will be in service in 2023. |
