REQ-1124-08078 Denied 11/26/2024 11/27/2024 Requests DENIED – DUE TO NO PRE-ACTIVITY MEETING SCHEDULED VIA THE ONLINE PORTAL. We would like to request an extension due to our contractor's work schedule. They are not available to start work until January. We would like a 60-day extension to accommodate their workflow. Thank you! This project encompasses a bus stop and right of way located in the Corbett neighborhood on the east side of S Craycroft road and 32nd street. The site receives stormwater runoff from the parking lot of a small strip mall to the west and abuts a large storm drain to the north. The bus stop consists of a bench surrounded by asphalt and is in full sun, without a shade structure or nearby trees for shade. There is a small patch of dirt that was cut from the asphalt parking lot to the east of the bus stop that is devoid of landscaping but is full of weeds including invasive buffelgrass. Sediments have filled the right of way along the sidewalk. The plan includes removing 2” of sediment build-up in a 200 SF area adjacent to the sidewalk; removing a 460 SF area of asphalt; moving the existing dumpster close to the buildings; creating one 400 SF basin, excavated to 6” depth and covered with 2” of a mulch and wildflower seed mix (creating a 6” ponding depth); creating a 1’ high berm over a 200 SF area; placing twelve 2’-boulders, and four 3’-boulders around the edges of the site; and spreading a desert cobble mix over the 200 SF berm, and spreading decomposed granite over a 160 SF area adjacent the bus stop.
