REQ-0323-01554 Complete 03/12/2023 03/22/2023 Requests NEW CHURCH: Oasis at Rita Ranch is a church that began meeting in homes in 1997. We met in Desert Sky Middle School from 2001-2021. In August 2021, we moved to Empire High, where we still meet every Sunday at 10:00am. We own five (5) acres of land at 9021 South Atterbury Wash Way. We have an approved construction plan (T20CM06844) that we applied for in October 2020 (15,000 square feet). The permit is set to expire on March 8, 2023. We own our land—valued at $250,000—and have saved $283,000 toward a down payment on a building loan. The original bid for the building was $2M, but we estimate the cost is now between $2.5-3M. Therefore, we’re currently setting aside $5000+/month to help us reach our goal of $350,000. We believe we’ll be ready to build in mid-2024, so we’re asking for an extension to our building permit.
